This privacy policy of *.pluvo.nl and *.pluvo.co was last updated on October 21, 2020.
When you create an account with us, you provide us with various personal information. We handle this information with great care. On this page, we explain what personal information we collect and what we do with it. If you have any questions after reading this, please send us an email at info@pluvo.co.
We ask for your first and last name so that we can address you properly in emails and chat conversations. It also enables us to communicate more efficiently with each other through chat.
With your organization's name, we can link participants to your course. Participants can also see which training is yours.
We need your email address to confirm your account. We use it to send you notifications, such as when a student has completed an exercise. We also use your email for our newsletter if you have subscribed to it. Of course, you can always unsubscribe. Click on the unsubscribe link in the email or send an email stating "I want to unsubscribe" to info@pluvo.co.
We use your payment details to link your purchases to your account. This only applies to payments via iDEAL or if you transfer money yourself. If you pay by credit card, we only receive information about whether the payment was successful. We never see your credit card details.
We ask for your phone number to support you quickly and efficiently.
If you add a profile photo, other participants can recognize you more easily. It also makes communication more personal when you see a face next to each other's name.
Afterward, you will likely start working on your own academy to teach/train your users. We keep the name, email, profile photo, and self-added values of these users for your convenience and use.
The internal chat in Pluvo is for use between participants and trainers, and its data is stored for use in "your" academy.
We store progress reports and answers given in lesson modules in our system. These remain stored until you close the academy or remove the participant.
Each participant has the option to keep a portfolio and development plan. We store this information for use in the academy and to provide insight for the user.
When creating an academy in Pluvo, you agree to our data processing agreement, which you accept upon registration.
We store personal and training data in a secure database. It is well encrypted and inaccessible to unauthorized persons. We regularly check our security measures to prevent any leaks.
We do not disclose personal information to third parties. We make an exception only in cases of fraud. See 'Fraud Prevention' for more information. In some cases, we share information about your browsing behavior with partners, but this information is only linked to your IP address. So your personal information stays with Pluvo. You can read about how we use information about your browsing behavior in our cookie policy.
In case of suspicious behavior, we are required to provide personal data to government agencies such as the police or judiciary. They use this information to detect and prevent fraud.
After your last visit to pluvo.co or pluvo.nl, we store your data for another twelve months. Afterward, they are destroyed. An exception is made for data that the law obliges us to keep for longer. If you want us to delete your data earlier than twelve months, please send an email to info@pluvo.co. Please note that once we have deleted your data, you can no longer use the training environment.
Would you like to know what personal information we have stored about you, or do you want to modify your data? Please send an email to info@pluvo.co.
In order to continuously improve Pluvo, we sometimes conduct customer or market research. We do not always do this ourselves. If you indicate that you want to participate, we will provide your email address to the agency conducting the research. Of course, we only work with agencies that adhere to the same strict privacy rules as we do. After the research, they must delete the email addresses of our users from their system.
When you contact our customer service, you want to be helped as quickly as possible. That's why we take notes of chat conversations and save them. We also store the chat conversations themselves. This way, we can immediately see what we helped you with last time and can better respond to your question. For our chat service, we work with Intercom. The personal information you share through the chat is therefore subject to Intercom's privacy- and cookiepolicy.
Pluvo also uses cookies. Please read our cookie policy.
