Blended learning for Code 95 and VCA offered by training center Crescendo - Customer story Crescendo

Training center Crescendo has been using Pluvo for some time now to support their training programs. They prepare their students online for the practice of various courses. It's a great form of blended learning, and we at Pluvo wanted to hear more about it. Therefore, we had a conversation with Martin Bronkhorst, trainer & online learning manager at Crescendo.

What does Crescendo do?

Trainingscentrum Crescendo is the training partner for companies in the construction, infrastructure, and logistics industries. Crescendo offers a complete range of training courses, from TCVT operator training and related refresher courses, to training for forklift and aerial work platform operators, first aid, VCA, DLP and OPM, and instruction for safe operation of various machines. And of course, Code 95.

Why e-learning?

E-learning is used within Crescendo to prepare for the practical part of a training or course. A major advantage of this is that the course can be completed more quickly. Online, someone can be prepared for an exam in a short period of time.

E-learning is currently being used for VCA, Code 95, and TCVT operator training. Crescendo wants to significantly expand this offer.

Martin: We want to put almost all of our training courses in Pluvo. We don't want to have textbooks anymore: e-learning suits us much better!

Martin cites the following advantages of e-learning:

• The preparation by trainees is now much better;
• A lot of time is saved;
• Many more trainees can take a training in one day;
• Videos and materials can be viewed multiple times;
• Progress and scores are visible;
• Trainees can easily obtain a personalized certificate.

Martin and his colleagues are now using Pluvo on a daily basis and only have plans to put even more trainings on Pluvo.
